The Acorn Post Bed is a New England style that features a post topped by an acorn. It was commonly produced by the more rural craftsmen in the early 1800's.

Our bed is based on an 18th century bed found in an attic. The carved "lamb's tongue" and the subtle taper of the chamfered posts are traditional design characteristics.
